Summer Movies

Summer officially starts in a few weeks and what better way to beat the heat than a dark, air-conditioned movie theater?

In this asap video, AP movie critic Christy Lemire goes over some of the films to look forward to this summer, including "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End," the raunchy comedy "Knocked Up," and the Michael Bay extravaganza "Transformers."

It's already been a bountiful year for Hollywood's bottom line. Moviegoers set a Memorial Day weekend record with overall revenues of $265 million, besting the previous high of $247 million set in 2004. The box office receipts soared thanks to "Spider-Man 3," "Shrek the Third," and "At World's End," and there's no end in sight.
