A town in Bethel, Pa., puts on a performance about morality and mortality, asking audiences to think about where they will spend eternity. asap's religion video series by HILLARY RHODES.
BETHEL, Pa.
None of us knows exactly when we'll die. But the folks at the Tri-County Worship Center in Central Pennsylvania believe they know pretty well what happens afterward.
They say our souls arrive at the gates of heaven, where we find out if our name is written in the "book of life." If it is, we go to heaven. If not, we're the devil's to keep, and we'll burn forever in the fires of hell.
According to them, it all depends on your actions on earth, and whether you considered Jesus Christ as your savior.
That depiction of eternity was on display during a recent play: "Heaven's Gates & Hell's Flames," produced by Ontario-based Reality Outreach Ministries and performed by local members of this Pennsylvania church.
