The Sci-Fi Channel's 'Who Wants to be a Superhero' is set to hit the airwaves again. CARYN BROOKS visits the nouveau castle of a multimillionaire contestant who's up, up and away out there.
WATER MILL, N.Y.
Lifestyles of the rich and super.
The Sci-Fi Channel's reality show "Who Wants to Be A Superhero" is back for another season. One of the contestants this time around has the name Ivan Wilzig inscribed on his birth certificate -- and in no way needs to win a cash prize.
This self-styled music producer and bon vivant is heir to a multimillion banking fortune and lives in a manse in the Hamptons styled after a castle. His superhero persona is Mr. Mitzvah, who he claims is the first Jewish superhero (what about the Hebrew Hammer?).
So how does this Bruce Wayne wannabe celebrate?
How about by shipping busloads of poor schlubs (aka the media) out to his estate to celebrate.
CARYN BROOKS was there, video camera in hand.
