In this week's religion video series, asap's HILLARY RHODES discusses authors who say they can't win with religious or secular audiences, a blessing for immigrants and Taoism in basketball.
Immigrants, fantasy fiction and basketball.
Every other week, we explore interesting goings-on in the world of religion in a video report. This week, the selection includes:
Two-dozen immigrants in Los Angeles boarded a train for Washington after the head of the biggest archdiocese in the nation gave them a blessing on the platform.
Four Christian fantasy fiction authors have decided to launch a book tour in the northeast. Part of their goal is to spread awareness of the odd spot they fill, as weavers of imaginary -- or "speculative" -- worlds, between conservative religious folks and secular readers.
And the recent book "Basketball and Philosophy" offers a quote we like in an essay about Taoism.
