In this new asap video feature, DERRIK J. LANG and RYAN PEARSON uncover quirky connections from every corner of the gaming world.
Video games have become ingrained in our culture, inspiring both nostalgia and technological breakthroughs.
That's exactly why asap is pushing the start button on Up Down Left Right, a weekly video feature starring asap reporters and gaming gurus DERRIK J. LANG in New York and RYAN PEARSON in Los Angeles. From separate coasts, they'll personally provide their take on today's -- and perhaps yesterday's -- games.
In this first installment, Lang flies high into the skies to preview "Whirlwind Over Vietnam" (Rated T, $29.99 for Windows PCs) and discovers what happens when he pairs easy listening music with "Motor Storm" (Rated T, $59.99 for PlayStation 3).
Next time, Pearson will lay the smackdown on "Crackdown" for Xbox 360 and show his private collection of, well ... you'll just have to come back to see for yourself.
