In this asap podcast, DERRIK J. LANG talks to host Jeff Probst about the advantages and disadvantages of the 14th season's oh-so-sneaky twists.
Apparently, all's fair in love and war -- and "Survivor: Fiji."
After the I-can't-believe-they're-doing-that racial division at the beginning of last season's "Survivor," host Jeff Probst is leaving the tribe choice up to the 19 castaways themselves for the next installment of the "outwit, outplay, outlast" competition.
Other changes to CBS' "Survivor," which premieres Feb. 8, include two Hidden Immunity Idols instead of just one on Exile Island and the most accommodating accommodations built in "Survivor" history.
But are the cushy camp and dual get-out-of-Tribal-Council-free cards fair?
In this asap podcast, DERRIK J. LANG asks Probst about this one-sided season's twists. He explains why there's an uneven number of contestants -- and reveals where those Hidden Immunity Idols are located.
