Primetime offered an opportunity to get into the flow of the game, find out what happened and why. The highlights were great and the commentary better.

NBC is all flash and no substance. In a recent highlight reel of a Colts game they even showed highlights out of order. Why? For the drama. They showed Peyton Manning rushing in a TD as if it was the last score that put Indy on top, because Manning spiked the ball emotionally at the end. That is a big pet peeve of mine. The game has enough drama. Please resist the urge to re-write the script.

I hope NBC gets it right. This "Super Bowl Sunday-esque" pregame show has got to go. All that time they have - and for nothing.
